Stacy Russon is the founder of the Viking Historical Reenactment Group of Utah. She started the group 7 years ago with a desire to learn more about her ancestors and to help others connect with their own ancestors. Stacy has taken a particular interest in ancient textiles, music, jewelry and tools used in every day life. Through archeology research and hands-on experience, Stacy demonstrates her craft and skill and provides an opportunity for people to find a connection to their past and a respect for history. Some of these works include Naalbinding, Lucet chord making, Weaving on a warp-weighted loom, etc.
Eric Schwendiman is a part of Sweden’s Grimfrost Hird and Global Viking Age Combat Organization. Eric and his family have been a wonderful addition to the Viking Historical group. You will find many treasures and enjoy receiving knowledge at Eric’s tent. You can follow him on Instagram at Hird_Hafn_Lyman.
